George Falkiner- Managing Director
George took over management of Haddon Rig in 1982, and now runs it with his daughter Olivia and their management team. George has a deep passion for technology, science, innovation and Stud breeding.
Olivia ‘Liv’ Falkiner - General Manager
Liv returned home in early 2023. After 4 years studying Ag Economics Sydney University majoring in Agribusiness and International Trade. She then worked in corporate agriculture before returning home. Liv works with George, taking on the reigns of managing the business.
Matt Kelly - Assistant Manager
Matt Kelly joined us once more in February 2024 after attending Marcus Oldham to study Agribusiness and working on sheep stations in QLD and NSW. Matt started his career as a jackaroo at HR and has a deep passion for merino breeding, a wealth of knowledge about corporate agriculture and commercial livestock.
Andy Maclean - Stud Manager
Andy has been leading the Stud team at Haddon Rig for over 30 years. An expert sheep man, Andy’s extensive skillset in stud breeding, livestock and pasture management have kept Haddon Rig at the top of the game since he started.
Robert Latham - Cropping Manager
Rob Latham runs our irrigated and Dryland cropping enterprises, managing a dedicated farming team and often, a backpacker or four. Rob takes a ‘can-do’ attitude to the next level.
Paula Blake - Office Manager
Paula is our superstar Office Manager, working with the Management team to keep the business running.
Forbes Murdoch - Stud Representative
Forbes is our valued Stud Master, working with Stuart and Andy to build on 140 years of breeding at Haddon Rig.
Andy McLeod - Stud Representative
Andy McLeod is well-known throughout Australia for his mastery of sheep breeding, integrity and dedication to his clients.
Stuart Murdoch - Stud Classer
Stuart took over the classing at Haddon Rig 6 years ago. Stuart has been instrumental in the growth of our Poll Stud, working with Andy and George to purchase key sires, ewes and use modern breeding techniques to take the Stud forward.
