Liv returned to Haddon Rig after completing a bachelors’ degree in Agricultural Economics and 5 years working in corporate agribusiness in Sydney, Melbourne and the Netherlands. Liv has a deep love of stud breeding and farming and works closely with the HR team and George, taking on the reins of the business.

Operations Overseer

Will splits his time between Dubbo at Michell Machinery and Haddon Rig where he lives with Liv. Will is involved across all aspects of operations, with a particular focus on our broadacre cropping and cotton programs.

Stud Manager

Matt Kelly joined us once more in February 2024 after attending Marcus Oldham to study Agribusiness and working on sheep stations in QLD and NSW. Matt started his career as a jackaroo at HR and has a deep passion for merino breeding, a wealth of knowledge about corporate agriculture and commercial livestock.

Stud Overseer

Stuart Maclean joins us from the Hay Plains where he grew up before attending university and contracting in the Central West. Stu follows in footsteps of his father Mark and his brother Callum who both worked at Haddon Rig as Stud Overseer.

Cropping Manager

Jake George runs our irrigated and dryland cropping enterprises, managing a dedicated farming team and often, a backpacker or two. Jake takes a ‘can-do’ attitude to the next level.

Paula is our superstar Office Manager, working with the Management team to keep the business running.

Stud Classer

Stuart took over the classing at Haddon Rig in 2016. Stuart has been instrumental in the growth of our Poll Stud, working with Andy and George to purchase key sires, ewes and use modern breeding techniques to take the Stud forward. Stuart also looks after a strong portion of our clients, as their classer and is driven by client performance.

Andy has been leading the Stud team at Haddon Rig for over 30 years. An expert sheep man, Andy’s extensive skillset in stud breeding, livestock and pasture management have kept Haddon Rig at the top of the game since he started.
