Update: HR Farming Operations

We’re lucky to have a stand-out farming team at HR including Robert Latham (Farming Manager), Jack Robertson (Assistant Manager) Matt Toole, Blake Crossingham, Jacob Cziszlowski and Tim Hall.

We’ve been busy this year (and very fortunate to have some much-needed rain in both our irrigated and dryland country!). This year we’ve planted a mixture of rotation crops including Canola 44T02, Lupins Luxor, Chickpeas Hattrick, Barley Sparticus and we are also hoping to get some 748B3F Cotton planted in OCtober.

Our challenge this year was a very wet planing window as opposed to the super dry planting conditions of the past few years! It’s been very rewarding to see some great crop growth this year - injecting some much-needed nutrients back into the soil, guaranteeing feed through the dryer months and hopefully some cash crop income later this year.

A huge thank you to the team at HR. For more cropping tips and updates, please reach out to Robert (robert@haddon-rig.com.au)
